who we are

Clarendon Capital Ventures “CCV” is an investment firm that invests in opportunities on the African continent and within African diaspora communities. CCV’s founders have decades of combined experience in capital raising, capital allocation, and asset management.

These skills and experiences are coupled with a powerful network of global business relationships and a deep passion for human flourishing on the African continent and in cities around the world.

what we believe

We believe that many of the world’s emerging investment opportunities will come from entrepreneurs leading startups that have a clear vision and business pathway to launch, grow, and scale rapidly. We call these “undervalued assets.”

We believe that appropriate capitalization and strategic business development activities into these undervalued assets create a high probability that businesses in our portfolio can grow, scale, and deliver a double bottom line: positive financial returns and significant impact on the African continent and around the globe in both the short- and long- term.

 where we invest

We invest in strategic geographic ecosystems that have achieved disproportionately successful outcomes for African-led startups and enterprises.

These ecosystems are both cities on the African continent and global cities that have large African diaspora populations, with policies and governance that create a favorable environment for entrepreneurs, and de-risk investment.
